Genika Cafe was created to bring together two experiences in one place – a refined coffee house and a welcoming neighborhood tavern.

Located in Washington DC’s vibrant Shaw district, near the Walter E. Washington Convension Center, the cafe offers a relaxed space where guests can enjoy exceptional coffee, fresh food, and evening drinks.

During the day, Genika Cafe serves specialty coffees sourced from respected growing regions around the world in the evening the atmosphere shifts into a relaxed tavern experience with beer, wire and classic.
